Q: What should I wear to my appointment?

A: Wear comfortable clothes. Depending on the location of your tattoo, you will want to be mindful that ink may get on your clothing so don’t wear your favorite stuff. For example, if you are getting your bice tattooed, a sleeveless shirt is a great idea. If you have specific questions depending on the location, just ask me and I’ll happily advise.

Q: How much does it cost?

A: I charge $125 per hour and require a deposit prior to booking your appointment. The deposit is non-refundable as it secures my time. If I’m not tattooing, I’m not getting paid. Deposits cover my time to draw up your tattoo and save your slot. The deposit is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.

Q: What if I can't make my appointment?

A: Cancel your appointment as soon as possible. I will apply your deposit towards the cost of your tattoo. If you no call / no show I will keep your deposit and it will not be applied to the tattoo when you come in again.

Q: How does my tattoo heal?

A: I recommend leaving your tattoo wrapped for a good hour. When you get home, clean the tattoo with a mild antibacterial soap and water. From there, I find tattoo heal their best using Tegaderm which can be purchased on Amazon or at a local drug store. This is a medical product that prevents debris from getting into your tattoo. Doctors often use it for burn victims. 

I’ve found that keeping that on for a week makes for a much easier healing process. After that, your tattoo should be mostly healed. It’s still important to keep the area clean and hydrated. I recommend that my clients use Hustle Butter Deluxe which we have for sale at our shop. It’s a vegan product designed specifically for tattoos.

That being said, please do not substitute this for any additional or different advice I give you at the shop. Everyone has different skin.

Q: Do I have to book an appointment?

A: Most cases, yes. It is best to have an appointment so I can adequately prepare. There are times I can take a walk in and as long as you want something custom I’ve drawn up, or something we can put together I can take you. Check my social media or call the shop for my availability. Typically if I have time for walk-ins, I will post something.
